JR, the person that wrecked the bike has a badly bruised foot, but other than that, I think only his pride is hurt. So far, the damage to the frame from what I can see is limited to the front rack mount and it is minimal. The machine is at the mechanic right now so he can give me a professional assessment.
The steering stem has a bend in it just above the top bearing, the racks, bumpers, and most of the plastic needs to be replaced.

Yes the wife has a black one, it was already showing scuffs when it got rolled with the 53 miles on it. Put new back plastic on and 500 miles later it's not bad but definately noticeable.
I don't have any current pics and the machine is at the dealer getting a new jug, piston and rings.

I see the rack is tweaked. Looks like mine when I rolled mine about 30mph. the handlebars were bent down to the air cleaner. I never did check my steering stem for straightness. Plastic looks fine from this angle, but sure can't see it all in this photo. The racks do protect the plastic pretty well in roll over. Man I wish I would have taken pics of mine when I rolled it.

Dude, the things still mint!!!! New handlebars, stem and pod plastic and you are good to go!! Like Yamihoo said, we can't see the whole thing so we have no idea as to how bad the body plastic is. If it is mainly the pod area plastic that is toast, replace that with black stuff and leave the rest red. That would be pretty neat!!

You can't see it there, but both front and rear fenders are ripped. Steereing stem is bent, both racks bent, upper and lower bumpers bent, floor boards bent due to fender protectors being bolted to them, most of the black plastic is torn. I will get the entire list/estimate from the shop today hopefully. There is some frame damage from what I could see, but it can be repaired. It is the part that the racks mount to the strut towers. Besides being torn, both fenders are deeply scratched.

I wasn't there when it happened, but I suspect that he was doing at least 30 - 40. The rider was in shock and he has no idea what happened. It was on a straight road with some rutts and it would have been impossible to roll this machine if it were going any slower than 30. Again, you can't see the damage from that photo, but the QB box is tweeked also. The black plastic on the rear rack is cracked. The photo just doesn't do it justice.

Well... I dropped by the dealer today and took a look at the new black plastic. Just for grins, I rubbed my finger very softly on the shiny black plastic and it fogged right up. I don't think I will get the black simply because it will not hold up like the others will.
I hate to say it, but I might just end up getting the red.

Here is a little preview: There is one "gotcha" and that is that the BF steering stem is longer to make the handle bars sit up higher. Good thing I am getting a new stem anyway.
If there is anything that I have missed, please feel free to let me know. The reason that there is no rear carrier listed is that the Prairie rear carrier will work and looks fine.

That's some list brother! Thanks for taking the time to compile that. Here on ATVPT is the only place that I have seen that
I bet you will be OK on the cables as long as you stay around a half inch of rise. Adding the Rox Risers with aftermarket bars bumped mine out that much, and all was well. Of course, mine is a 700 zuki, but I believe yours to be the identical.
Having said that, If you have never replaced the throttle cable, I would highly recommend doing so. My thumb enjoys the ride much more after I did that. well worth the money. Might be a good time to contemplate going to a twistie too!
I know you are ready to put it all back together and ride, but If you have the tools availible (drill press, taps-etc.), I would also take the time to add the grease fittings to the steering stem bearings. If you have made it 5 years without problems, you may not need it. I had problems with mine after less than a year of riding.

Oh yeah... I ordered the red plastic. I just wasn't happy with how the black holds up for everyone else. I decided that Team Green just doesn't fit my style.

I found these pics:
They are from a P700, but I think that I will be okay with the cables. My throttle cable is not stiff at all. I don't have near the mud that y'all do in the east. A twist throttle is out of the question for me. One reason is hand warmers and the other reason is that I can't stand twist.
I will be doing the grease mod on my old man's P as the steering stem has some play in it.
